Too bad that incel rage, bad marketing and superhero fatigue has sunk this fun movie. 'The Marvels' is the best MCU movie in a very long time - it doesn't take itself too seriously, is very fast paced, doesn't bother with infinity stones and multiverse and quantum realm nonsense. And of course, if you adore any of the leads, they all get to absolutely shine in this movie - especially Brie Larson and Samuel Jackson. Most of all, 'The Marvels' doesn't use CGI as a crutch in the fight scenes. Instead, CGI is used to enhance the beautifully choreographed fight sequences. These were very physical and I thoroughly enjoyed them (reminded me of the fights in Captain America: Winter Soldier). This movie has the inter-galactic world-building and team dynamics of Guardians OTG Vol. 1, great combat stunts of Captain America and the fun, silly, popcorn-movie comfort of Ragnarok. If you liked any of these other movies, you would definitely love and adore The Marvels. I hope Marvel gives this same crew another chance to redeem themselves commercially.

Very realistic and quite a gripping story - at least the 1st half is well worth your time, unless your time is super important like a doctor or something. Apt representation of reality. And very hearty performances, especially by Zeeshan, Sunil, Dimple and most of the supporting cast . Don't pay too much attention to critics or bhakts - 1 will find any political drama not made by Nolan or Hansal Mehta as campy and the other will find everything offensive
