This was a film about a father /daughter trip to Poland to visit Lodz ,her father's place of birth, and Auschwitz, where her father suffered as a young man , and lost much of his family . It was certainly reminiscent of my family's story ,and a definite tearjerker for me. I applaud Lena Dunham - I was pleasantly surprised by her genuine performance.
