Having already watched the original series a while back I thought I would give the American remake a go. I found it to be better. The acting by the two leads is excellent, the direction is excellent as well. The scenery, the writing, the twists also. The storylines are dark and I found myself unable to stop watching once I'd started which is a good sign. There are only four series but when it ends, it ends properly. Definitely recommended.

I'm in the minority here, I quite enjoyed it. My only real criticism is that the dialogue was a bit hard to hear ( mumbled) and subtitles weren't available. Acting was fine as was the story. It would beneficial to watch it again.

Up to and including Peter Capaldi the show was really good. Now the stories are weak, the actors can't act and it's far too p.c.

Went to this this today with my two boys, 15 & 18 with a feeling of trepidation. Glad to say it was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Don't believe what you read or see online. Exciting from start to finish and I would be first to complain about it being overly p.c. but it isn't. I look forward to it coming out on DVD

I watched this movie yesterday then watched it again today. It's excellent. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt work really well together. I'm off to watch it again !!

When I started watching this I thought it was a comedy but after a while I realised it was actually serious. The acting is poor and wooden and the writing isn't very good either. So far they have battled Al Qaeda, Russians, a drug lord, the same Russians again and a nuclear submarine crewed by a band of cockney chimney sweeps. Every couple of episodes the lead character will announce that he is Captain Tom Chandler of the US navy and that he is here to save the day and possibly the whole world. He always leads the attacks from the front killing multiple enemies without being hit. The XO character has an interesting repertoire of facial expressions and a cap which is three sizes too small for his head. It's all very much "god bless America". I've only managed to get halfway through the second series and I have had to give up due to a headache brought on by constant saluting of the stars and stripes. Watch Battle Star Galactica it's far better

The first few episodes are a bit slow but once it gets going it's excellent. Plus there are no aliens (man or woman in a rubber mask) to spoil it. Great stories, acting and effects. Even better than BSG

I quite enjoyed this series of stories. Thought provoking and melancholy. Great acting and the special effects were not over the top and the music was excellent. Each story linked together at the end with probably two episodes in the middle which weren't quite as good but overall very good. The ending was a bit confusing but that's what you get in mind bending sci fi. I hope there is another series.

I got this game for just under a fiver, reduced from £14 I think. If I had paid full price I would be a little disappointed. I wasn't expecting a shoot-em-up game or anything too violent, but it's more of a story than a game which I found to be rather dull and luckily very short. There is no real gameplay to speak of, it's just a matter of walking around a house very slowly, reading various notes left by late family members. Of course this is just my opinion and you should play it yourself
