Dave McAdams

I'm always looking for new authors in this genre and it is nice to see a new Canadian writer. Some nice twists and turns throughout the book. Fast paced and I had to finish it in a couple of sessions as I wanted to see what happened next. The culture of Guatemala was well integrated into the story and helped explain the connection of the drug lords to the people of the area. Interesting connection to the Catholic church and to the trickster Maximón. Looking forward to seeing where John Carpenter goes next.
