Best…..Basketball…..Movie…..Ever!

I have been a fan of Godzilla movies ever since the first one with Raymond Burr. I even endured “Son of Godzilla” and the silly victory dance he would do when he defeated another titan. Now i am in monster verae heaven with all of the CGI effects that make monsters even cooler. Having even won an academy award is icing on a giant birthday cake. Happy Birthday to Godzilla fans.

Even though I believe the story would have been better If Osha’s innocence had not been established until perhaps the end of season one I understand that it was essential to continuity. Otherwise I think it is fantastic. Especially the cast so far.

I have had the same experiences as Ruben to the point of being told that I need hearing implants. Riz Ahmed’s reactions were spot on to the emotions I experienced up to and beyond the point of acceptance that I was rapidly losing my ability to hear anything. Hearing aids helped but there is no true solution to this unfortunate malady. ASL is one solution but not a true one unless everyone would learn to sign. It’s like living in a strange land with a strange language you can’t speak or learn, being dependent on an interpreter. Well parlayed, Mr. Ahmed. You deserve any and all awards you may win. I am now a fan. Thank you for bringing attention to it.

With all the movies that demonize the south during the time of the Civil War and evening now I find it refreshing that the union is exposed as having the very same prejudices that southerners are accused as well. Bravo!

I like the attempt to protect the purity of the martial arts used to propel pro fighters beyond their physical capabilities.

I think the critics are being pretentious. I am not a fan of art films but I was entertained by this movie. That’s all movies, sports and novels are for - entertainment.

A coming of age movie of a different kind. It breaks the mold of the strong athletic jock type of growing boy by exploring the expanding horizons of potential in a direction other than sports relieving the pressures of athletic achievement that we often place on our children.
