Re Vauxhall Cavalier, I believe there was no need to remove the whole side of the car and were wrongly advised by the company who supplied the Carony adaption. They should have advised to install with a Turney electric turntable and door opening extension. my late wife had this fitted to 3 motobility cars from 2007. 2 Renault Senics and 1 Ford B Max. this was transfered to each car every 3 years at the dealers in a day by Ergomobility, Bolney, Sussex. I found this adaption ideal for getting her out and about without any assistance in my 70s and 80s. hope this helps for the future. michael nicholson. love the show.
