How the hell there is no critic on the new bat movie?! So, here is my review anyway. I saw it hacked (as I didn't want to waste efforts and money on a thing I didn't believe in) I am a bat Affleck fan. But I wanted to give the new DC a shot. The truth is it took me 2 days to go through it, as the first hour was so boring. The detective part of the bat wasn't nailed to a tee. It should have been as it is the focus of the movie. Come on, this bat looks like a junkie. The action scenes were terrible. (I mean compared to the Snyder movies and the MCU) The introduction of Selina kyle was not great. (Not even a mere mention of the thievery) Alfred and batman's relationship isn't what it should be. Where is the respect ?! Where is the sarcasm? But let's go through some of the great things about that movie, The cat and bat dynamic was great but not at the first hour (I mean afterward). The riddler was the greatest part of this movie. He surpassed expectations. Jim Gordon and the police dynamic against the vigilante and Jim defending him was great too. I loved the Penguin and Falconi, too My opinion is the movie deserves 6/10 if I'm feeling generous. If not 5.5 or 5 out of 10 Why? Despite the good thing about the movie, it has killer flaws. If anyone is watching a Bat movie, what do you think they will be watching it for. Yes for the batman and the bat was not good enough. The detective part was not bad but not great for me as most of the detective work should have been done in Bruce Wayne's persona. A movie about Batman and the most memorable thing about it is a race bend Catwoman without the thievery and the riddler who looks more like a scarecrow than Hush. (for thoughts who don't know hush see the animated batman: hush) NB. I didn't comment on the psyche as I am still on the fence about it. It is as dark as I would have liked it, but there is no focus on the other side of it. The Bruce Wayne part doesn't exist in the movie as far as I saw. Except when the riddler said that Bruce Wayne is the mask. Of course, it is true but the movie doesn't even show it. For me, Patterson looks like a Terry McGinnis. Also, the third act is a bit weak and so is the action. *For me, the only movie I will be interested in would be Aquaman 2 (maybe the flash, maybe not ) Then DC for me will only be the animated
