This book is an outstanding and fascinating account of one African-American man's struggle to overcome a difficult and painful childhood, and to break free from the cultural stronghold of beliefs that Republicanism equates to racism. He discovers that conservatives uphold the principles and values that he has held to be true, and that have enabled him to rise above his circumstances and prosper. I would hope to see this book on the best seller list and be given the widest dissemination possible. It is a timely and relevant word, and carries a critical worldview for all that is going on in our nation today, in the year 2020.
