This review has major spoilers !! Kung Fu Panda 2 is so good and it is not talked about enough, like for a big part of the movie being about how the machine is going to end kung fu, it has amazing fight scenes LIKE THE ONE WHERE THE BUILDING FELL AND THEY CLIMBED IT AND JUMPED OFF OF IT?? served. Dont get me started on the storyline and Pos past. This movie had such a like serious theme to it you could tell they had to put little bits of humor in there to make it seem more like a kids movie. His entire search for the truth and inner peace? amazing. And the overall feel of the movie is just insane like how theres a bunch of red during a lot of the fight scenes and flashes of the past that just show how much Po wants to know what happened. and even when he finally does and feels like he can win and save China then everyone almost dies, He doesn’t give up and fights them ALONE. USING HIS INNER PEACE THAT XEFU TAUGHT HIM AND REDIRECTS THE FRICKING MACHINE??? king stuff. like it was just absolutely insane. nothing else to say about it. and the symbolism in that final scene where po redirects the metal fire ball USING KUNG FU WICH IS WHAT THE MACHINE WAS CREATED TO DESTROY AND HOW PO INVISIONED IT AS A DROP OF WATER WHILE THE PEACOCK SAW IT AS A FIREBALL. YOU CAN NOT TELL ME THERE WASNT A MORE SERIOUS MESSAGE UNDERLYING THAT !!!! i feel like it rly showed how po and the peacock are opposing sides of the bad things that happened to them when they were children and while po decided to choose inner peace and who he is and not to let his past change him the peacock chose destruction and revenge and ended up destroying himself in the process its an amazing show i might even say better than the first movie.
