Found it hard to get past the brutal stereotyping of the French (rude, swingers, sexist, smokers, drinkers) and the pure white American girl swooping in to save them. Very much tailored to an american crowd. The settings and costuming are beautiful and the main character is charming in a 2 dimensional sort of way
