I watched this for the first time as an adult after not remembering much about it as a kid and I am so pleasantly surprised. The animation is spectacular and everything was a delight from start to finish. One of my favourites now.

One of the most boring and uneventful Disney movies ever. Not worth your time.

I’ve been doing a Disney marathon and rewatching movies I haven’t seen since I was a kid and Aladdin is still a fantastic movie in every way. It’s entertaining from start to finish. I’m not a musical fan but I throughly enjoyed all the songs in this movie. It’s also got some of the most compelling characters in all of Disney. Jafar is an excellent villain and Jasmine is a top tier Princess, she’s sassy and stands up for herself but not in an annoying forced transparent feminist way. Robin Williams is an absolute delight as the Genie while not being overbearing. 5/5 movie.

I’m so mad that I listened to people who said this was a good movie. The acting, bland characters and terrible pacing makes this a very boring and unenjoyable watch. It’s so disappointing because it’s such a cool setup for a vampire movie but I’d personally give this one a skip, not worth boring yourself over.
