Highly anticipated and tragically overhyped, troubled launch, brutal media coverage... Still ends up being the closest thing to a perfect videogames ever made in my opinion. I understand this game is not for everyone. In fact, it may not be for most. But that's just fine. I love it! If I never bought another game again, I could still wake up every day and experience new, vibrant worlds... I could still build something I hadn't thought of the day prior... I could still come across the perfect startship that after 200+ hours of playing, I had never even caught I glimpse of. This game captures so beautifully the reality of mankind's loneliness and potential insignificance in this universe. The dedication and commitment that Hello Games has shown to this project has me, as a day one player, still ever excited for what lies ahead for this masterpiece of a game.
