Slow start, but really satisfying ending

Phenomenal, absolutely worth watching.

A surprisingly good live action remake of the anime. I'm impressed and not in the slightest bit disappointed!

Nothing original but it was a very enjoyable popcorn film. A strong mix of The Equalizer and John Wick, with bits and pieces of other great action films. Overall, absolutely worth the watch for fans of those two films.

Awesome fight scenes with unequalled visuals. Abysmal plot, but the plot's not why you're going to see it! Highly recommended.

Incredibly well animated and a very enjoyable story. Believable characters and brilliantly voice acted, albeit with a predictable and somewhat unoriginal storyline. It was let down for me somewhat towards the end of the third season with gratuitous nudity and sex, and largely on this basis I think it does not deserve a 5 star rating. Season 4 seriously triggered my tinnitus, be warned.

Absolutely awesome. A must watch for any Sengoku-era fan, even if it is fictional. The spectacle and budget of this film are what make it so incredible. I can say recommend this film enough.

Very poorly written, as if by someone who had just barely graduated with a degree in filmmaking from University. Despite a couple of well known (albeit past their prime) actors, the acting wasn't much better. The special effects were sufficient and the style is probably to some people's liking. For my tastes, I couldn't find anything redeeming about this movie. I didn't have high hopes going in, and I still left disappointed. 3/5 is generous.
