It was a good film, because I was invested in the characters from their respective tv series. As a stand alone film, I wish I never watched it. The character development went down the drain. I understand Tobys death was sad, it broke my heart. But he made that decision and what Jim needed to do was grieve. Just as Aja and Krel had to accept their parents wishes. And what happens to Aja and Steve’s baby’s. I just find it ridiculous that they didn’t really fight for their children to continue to exist. Family is so Important to both Steve and Aja, but they just accepted going back! Now I’m going to just pretend I never watched the film, because I can’t bear to think that everything they did to grow was for nothing! The animation was glorious! So that’s a nice side.
