Psychological thriller with some gore and great story. You can follow what is going to happen next while it blows your mind with a weird twist. Nic cage is unrecognizable in the best and creepiest way. Maika Monroe, the lead actress Lee, is amazing for this role and I would love to see her in more like it. Lee is believably taken by the events and strong willed to follow through the terror of it all. Like a Manson serial killer story In The Shining. Those who don’t like it I say just don’t appreciate the buildup of psychological thrillers, good directing/camera work (artistic style), and acting.
