I honestly loved this book. It sucks you in to the point that you don't realize you're near or at the end until it sneaks up and slaps you in the face. If you're looking for a fresh fantasy series that doesn't follow old worn out tropes this is it. There were some (I can count them on one hand) similarities I could see between this book and another series I read called Planet wolf but those similarities I could see are just that both take things their own way and if you've read PW then read this you'll see them too. I don't want to give spoilers so I won't say what they are.
