If you're interested in gargoyles and grotesques this is a great book to own, it's got some good photos in it, but I am disappointed with the use of images and page space in this book. It's a bit frustrating that some of what I think are the better photos are not used very well, they could have been blown up and used on a full page, but other images were chosen. A lot of pages are wasted too, they just have a small photo in the middle, one of them is tiny! I'm not sure why this decision was made but personally I don't think it was a good one! It's a shame this book isn't easier to get hold of, I paid more than I really wanted to for a copy and it didn't even have the dust jacket on it. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known because I love the image on it, it's one of the better ones and it's not even in the book! Its a good book but it could have been better.
