"Fight Club" released during 1999 and is critically acclaimed to this day. I'll be a boring and dull individual and state immediately that this film is truly amazing. I don't believe I've seen any other films that have Brad Pitt as the primary focus, but this makes me want to see Se7en, Fury and others. His performance sells it!
This film centers around the narrator (Edward Norton), a man deep within a state of insomnia and works a dull, lifeless job, and after meeting a man named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) on an airplane during a business trip, his apartment strangely and unexpectedly blows up, causing him to call Tyler, thus dragging him down a path of fighting, vandalism and terrorism and revelations unexpectedly shock the audience.
There are several quotes within the film that I'll likely remember for a long time, it manages to be entertaining even when there are only three fleshed out characters really (the narrator, Tyler and Marla, the love interest character) and for a film called "Fight Club", it has a lot more than just "fighting" in it and it is extremely confusing, but in a brilliant and genius way. If you haven't seen this film and you're interested in cinematography and filmmaking, do yourself a favor and watch it. Even if you're a casual movie enjoyer, it's worth seeing too.
Thank you for reading and goodbye!
