Dustin Rikert

I am a big Eastwood fan. Love his work and the impact he’s made on cinema. But this film felt like it should have been made with an actor on his 60’s not 90’s. I loved The Mule. Go see that one if you want the right chemistry for a man his age. This movie felt like Eastwood wanted to be young again. I think the movie would have been better served with Clint just directing. Not today I don’t love to see him act. I do, but he wasn’t as formidable as he needed to be in this film. It’s hard to be formidable when you’re 90. You have to believe he can go into Mexico and do the things he did— I didn’t Here’s hoping he does more. Just with material that works more for his age range.
