Some of the more emotional scenes feel a little lifeless in this remake, especially since this version is more "live-action." That doesn't take away from the fresh humor, the reimagined hyenas, and the beautifully animated scenery this movie presents. Admittedly, I was a little skeptical about this remake, but it really came through in the best way possible. In the words of Nathan Lane, "Hakuna f***ing Matata."
