Ignore the nay-sayers. This was an outstanding film. Even the grittiness was gorgeous. I loved the subplots and their cogent unfolding. I am eager to see the sequel subplots related to Jennifer Connelly’s character and the mysterious mastermind of Zalem, the sky city full of the super-elite 1/4 of 1%. This movie was wonderful in SurroundSound; heard reprises of Aaron Copland’s APPALACHIAN SPRING. I’ll pay to see it again in IMAX. It was that good as a superb entertainment.
