Jess Allen's comments with respect to white male hockey players this week was quite astounding. I found her rant ironic and hypocritical in that her comments which were as inflammatory as those made by Don Cherry, yet the consequences for each were quite different. This is just one more example of political correctness gone wild. I don't believe the comments made by either Allen or Cherry justify punishment by firing. That being said whatever the penalty decided should be applied equally.
