Despite the great storytelling, I feel the gameโs core mechanics arenโt fleshed out. Itโs pretty much a standard shooter with no bells or whistles. The looting/gathering is mostly pointless. The crafting system is weak. The ship combat is weak. Thereโs spaceship building but by the time you can do it, the game is solved. Itโs not a bad game; itโs also not an amazing one.
