Overhyped but worth it to watch all three series SPOILERS I'm certainly late to this series, but I watched and was disturbed by how there became a cult following of people demanding Joe Exotic be released from prison. Everyone seems to not care about him killing 5 tigers, or that he scammed his own parents into bankruptcy, or how the mistreatment of his boyfriend lead to him kill himself. Series two : gave us the background we needed on Jeff Lowe. I don't know what viewers wanted, but I found this series and the third one very informative. Though I can't figure out why Lowe isn't in prison yet. He's a con artist *unextraordinaire*. Series three : was about the perverted pedophile Doc Antle. Why he hasn't been charged for pedophilia is beyond me. As for Carol's husband, anyone in Costa Rica could've killed him for his money, or for his pedophile taste in 15 year old girls. None of the wildlife keepers were fit to run zoos; and Carole Baskin doesn't really come across as wholesome either. She seems to benefit from the others, and have unpaid staff. Tim/Sue comes across as a danger not just to the animals, but also to everyone else. There isn't anything nice to say about anyone in this documentary series.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but I felt I learned absolutely nothing about the background of the main character. Sure there were hints, but I felt there was an explanation was needed as to how she got the job to be employed by Amanda. Other than that it was a good film. I wouldn't watch it again, but I would recommend it.
