An excellent take! There were several changes which provided a fresh perspective while staying true to the overall material from the cartoon. It is understandable that with a live action, filler episodes would not necessarily make their way into the final product however they were able to weave in some of the fan favourites into other parts of the story seamlessly. Money was SPENT on the CGI. The casting was immaculate and the introduction of Princess Azusa, though early, gave us a better understanding of how she came to be this overachiever and extremely ruthless. Definitely worth the watch. It is not a 1:1 take and so you should approach it with a clear mind and appreciate it for what it is as it truly is a masterpiece.
