Started reading this right as Spring was around the corner; after a Cancer diagnosis I was forced to stay home on my porch after a surgery. I normally do not read fiction but rather classical literature from around the world so this, along with everything else, was way out of my comfort zone. But I was wrong & related to the stories much more than I anticipated. I don't do romance novels but this twisty turn of events nature novel has me smitten. It was perfect as I saw the landscape around me bloom and change just as the forest does in North Woods. Recommend to those who appreciate nature & her complex courses of action.
