Like a child who did not get his way, the last 4 years include monologues whining about the president....no humor...just whining. The way he impersonates "the way that Trump supposedly acts" is more a reflection on him than anything else. Maybe one day I'll hear a joke again. CBS, pay someone actually funny with hilarious jokes, and you may get good ratings again.

By trying to please everyone, JJ Abrams ended up pleasing no one. While the overall story had fantastic potential, the plot was overwhelmed with "tried and true" nostalgia and felt rushed (like trying to take in a drive thru Christmas Light Show in your car travelling at 55 miles per hour). The transitions were rough and the last 30 minutes (particularly the falling action) were so rushed that emotionally you do not know how to react because by the time you start, some other trivial thing is thrown in your face. It felt hollow when it had the potential to be an amazing film. I left feeling conflicted when I just wanted to enjoy the film. Was it a good film.... Yes. Could it have been written and produced better... A resounding Yes!!!!!! I didn't love nor did I hate it. A one time watch.
