I am captivated by HAMNET, a marvelous historical novel by Maggie O’Farrell. Her writing is lyrical, exquisite, compelling. I am listening to her story about Shakespeare’s son Hamnet—and so much more. I recommend Audible, because the narrator is extremely talented and perfect for the story.

Amazing to discover that this was Ernest Hemingway’s first book. So many of the sharp elements, natural dialogue among three languages, and lost generation aspects seem fully realized. I was hooked!
