I used to love watching late night television. When the late night hosts turned from comedy to (mean) politics, I stopped watching. Especially Jimmy Kimmel! He should be ashamed of himself because his past isn’t so pristine. It’s no longer funny. It turned into bash your political opponents or people that you don’t like in a hateful and disrespectful way. Late night TV is supposed to be entertaining and funny. As far as I’m concerned it has just turned into trash. If the late night shows hosts want to create a podcast and do this, that would be different. They’re more than welcome to speak about people anyway they want to. That’s part of the freedom of speech. As long as it’s not threatening, go for it. Just stop ruining late night television. Late night television is supposed to be comedy and entertaining One of my favorites back in the 70s was SNL and even that got ruined. shameful.
