Heather Cox Richardson has given us a different perspective on what it means to "Make America Great Again". If you are looking to expand and evolve your thinking, this book is well researched and presents the harsh realities of what made the nation great in the eyes of some.
It also offers a retrospective understanding of the price we pay for our collective social and political ignorance. A profile of how a "God Fearing" nation was manipulated by wealthy educated elites.
I rank this book up there with Yuval Noah Harari's "Sapiens" in terms of transformational content and quality - my thinking has eveolved greatly.
