Grateful for this information, however it is a bit confusing. It indicates to start with the induction reflux diet (foods listed on page 46 and 47) for 2 weeks. Page 45 says “the diet includes no fruit except bananas and melons” yet pg 46 indicates you can have 4 red apples per week. The list of acceptable foods on the induction diet on pg 46 says “vegetables -raw or cooked, no onion, tomato, peppers” while pg 45 indicates you can have 1 red pepper per week. Page 45 also says “you can still try every recipe in this book as they are all acceptably low on acid and fat” but almost all the recipes contain ingredients that you can’t have during the induction phase. Other than those little points, I feel much better after adhering to the diet for only 3.5 days. I woke up this morning with more energy than I’ve had in a long time and have noticed significant improvement in my mood. My ENT referred me to this book and I’m so grateful.
