Having watched every Wes Anderson film, I appreciate his distinctive style and captivating movie sets. However, I won't delve into searching for explanations on why this particular movie is deemed his best. In my opinion, it falls short. While the performances shine, the colorful and beautiful sets reflect Wes' signature touch, but the narrative lacks substance. Whether intentionally or not, the film leaves me questioning if I missed a crucial element.
