At the age of 64 I survived an aortic dissection. Holby City tonight described aortic dissection as “an old man’s disease!” I do not regard 64 as being “an old man” and neither do many of my fellow survivors, especially those numerous ones in the early teens and twenties, and especially my female fellow survivors.
