Thankfully this movie avoided promoting animal exploitation like the new Disney movies tend to do... (notice all the scenes of people eating other aliens) The previous installment (The Last Jedi) was bad for many reasons including Luke killing the fish alien for no reason but his taste pleasure, and him using the walrus beings as milk producers. This film on the other hand answered all the question and made Rey a very strong and interesting character with lots of dynamic.
