What a delightful book this is, so beautifully written and illustrated. During the dreary rainy days of “summer” this story, told by a charming dog called Douglas, has brightened my days and taken me away into another world, one which I would love to inhabit. Maybe mores tales from Douglas will be forthcoming to keep us captivated and amused.
