Awesome game. The only thing I'd change in an update hopefully is more interactions with grav jumping and not just using it as fast travel. And make space more of a focus rather than doing stuff on planets.

Loved it, good blast from the past

Grew up playing Mario games on NES and SNES. Thought the movie was just fine, took my son for his bday yesterday who loves Mario, he thought it was amazing. All in all good family watch, graphics were stellar and on point. Plot was in line with any other mario game story line (in other words barely above non existent) but hasn't mario always been that way basically? I wouldn't watch again as an adult but also, I wouldn't play any mario game more than once as an adult either (mario party and mario kart being exceptions of course). My kids however can't wait to see it again when it comes to streaming.
