This is an engaging tale centering on the story of a young man of 10-years-old who follows his mother to America ... a year after she moves to New York. He travels by wagon, train, auto, and boat from Hungary to New York City. He is helped by family and friendly strangers. He escapes the pending Nazi horrors. He becomes an American, a contributing adult and citizen, he lives his life, he has a family. It is hard to actually tell you what the book is about, because the real story lies between the lines and in the loving care with which Tibi's daughter has assembled his tale that was written for his grandchildren. It is an important story in a small book.
