I have heavily mixed thoughts on this series. It is to an extent a close copy, that is missing a key element.... all the zombies! Having played the game a few times through I am quite sad to have missed so many moments from the game within the show, for example the giraffes you see as you exit a difficult underground/collapsed building level, shortly before arriving at the university. Go figure they keyed in on and focused on a lot of the dialogue, and added characters and scenarios not from the game, and went full volume on the "woke" aspect. All I can hope is that they leave the sequel alone and not try to recreate that. Just be done after this

A lot of people seem to dislike the "Bayformers" series and do so enjoy complaining about the films. I am personally a fan, and held off viewing the 6th installment after hearing that it was planned to rewrite a good deal of already developed story line. And just like Disney getting its hands on Star Wars, there was so much room for potential that was just sorely missed. Perhaps if John Favreau stepped in there could be a greater chance of rescuing and reviving the series.

Already watching it for the second time, from a fan of the game series this movie was well worth the wait. The effects were indubitably superb, with a well knit story to introduce all our beloved characters. And I did truly love how they subtly dropped the Easter eggs and fatalities through the movie. I hope that we can get a trilogy going
