This movie was great! I don't really remember much of the first WIR movie, so I didn't have too much of an attachment to the characters or story, for that matter. But I can imagine that those who did, would defacto not like this movie. But this movie, by itself, is very smart and has very sharp commentary on the state of the internet in our lives in 2018. It's a very meta movie - I had to explain to my kids and nephews the parallels of cyber security and human insecurity and trolls and such. But if you're a fan of the first WIR, you may be disappointed. If you are more like me, with no real attachment to the first, you might appreciate the social-cyber commentary.
