Be prepared to stay and finish this book in one setting, although it is not a short read, it is a no-put down book. Chisto definitely delivers a page turner! Of course you should also be prepared to stay on the couch and if you know someone is home, even better- this will have you looking over your shoulder by the middle of the first part of the book!!! Overall it is very well put together with the concept and plot; terrifying! No spoilers but many parents can likely relate to this fear!!! So kudos to this horror writer! He finds new ways to bring a person the fear they may crave on a dark night by a campfire or snuggled up under a blanket with some hot cocoa! The book is an easy read if you like horror in that you can't put it down and there is no pretense. The author delivers a straight forward and straight up scary story as promised- The characters are believable despite the supernatural nature of things. The whole book....just great for horror readers and those who love that scary horror room at home feeling that chills you to the core!!!
