Imagine a little bit of these all meshed together Nazis, Star Wars, Terminator, Amish farmers, Communists, and the Roman Empire. It's just too much, maybe if you knew nothing about history it might be more enjoyable but even the dialogue is awful.

Complete propaganda piece. If anyone does not understand what this is, I can only say watch Triumph of the Will by Leni Riefenstahl. If you believe the hype and above all the timing then I regret that you don't see what this film was made for. Oh and by the way the Obamas financed this film. To send a message. Oh and by the way, the Triumph of the Will was financed by the Nazis. To send a message. Just please keep an open mind about who made it, the why and the when. History if we don't learn from it, we're bound to repeat it.

Simply put, great if you love Guns'n Roses and...muppets! (really!)

Huge disappointment. Maybe if I hadn't read the book AND listened to the audiobook it may have been better but I can't see how. They changed so many things and it dragged on forever. One narrator in the audio did a better job of fleshing out the characters than all of the actors put together. There was so much hype about this book coming to the screen because it already had a huge fan base so why ruin it with so many changes? They should apologize to the author!
