Very confusing plot with many gaps in it and much left unexplained. The way it jumps about in time only adds to the confusion. It is never clear exactly where it takes place and although it transpires over several years all of the scenes are during winter. Although quite dramatic with a happy ending it remained quite frustrating as I tried to figure out what was actually happening.
