This is the best movie I’ve seen in 2024- 2025 HANDS DOWN! My husband and I went to see this film on a date night while I was in the middle of a 5-day fast and I didn’t think about food ONCE! It kept my attention the entire time, I went from tearing up to giggling like a little girl to smirking at the clever actions of the main characters. Jack Quaid continues to be one of our favorite actors, but I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY actor in this movie as well. The acting was so good I forgot it was a movie. The antagonist is such a good actor as well, I love him! We had so much fun watching this movie, and I couldn’t stop smiling after leaving the theater. The way they played with the concept was so creative and interesting too. I am so beyond impressed. I knew this movie was going to be great, but didn’t know it would be out-of-the-box AMAZING! I would recommend this film to every single person I know! Except maybe those who can’t handle gore because there’s a lot of it- but it all made sense for the plot and premise of the movie. And if it gets to be too much, just remind yourself he can’t feel pain- that’s what I did when I found myself grimacing. One last thing I really loved- they skipped the graphic s*x scene that most new action movies have nowadays. It was just implied, which I found rather refreshing. I think it’s better to keep those things private- I’m not trying to watch an adult film here, so thank you for that as well, dear filmmakers.

Movie made no sense. It had so much potential but the climax completely ruined the whole plot and nothing made sense in the end. Seemed like an angry rant, not a fun movie. Blech. Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell were the best and funniest parts of the movie, and they’re the only main male characters! So they even failed on uplifting women, their seemingly only purpose for the film.
