This film has it all, BriIrish Anthropologists/Palentologists an International Spy, a beautiful Polish Countess, a mad Russian Monk ,Cossacks. Scientists and a fossilised bogeyman which is really an ape possessed by an alien, all woven together in a tale tha combines the cream of British and Spanish, horror cinema actors and garnished with a surprise appearance by Telly Savalas and teaming up old Hammer favourites Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Lee is magnificently arrogant throughout.
