I just watched the movie and it was fantastic. I have read some of the negative reviews saying “the actors were to stone faced” and “it was not funny”. This live action Mulan was made to be as realistic as possible. During the time period in China it was not a good thing to show your emotions there is even a joke about it in the beginning. Also this is partly a war movie and it was not made to be a comedy. Overall this was a great movie and I highly recommend it.
