I am not willing to give it 5 stars because of the current lack of customizable options for the uniform, no set mode, and general slow performance/graphical bugs. The reason I give the game 4 stars is because overall it has SOOOO much more to offer that these 1 star reviews fail to mention. I got to spend time with my brother playing in the same world of a Pokémon game while being free to explore to our hearts content. This is a dream I’ve had since about 2004. Sure, graphical errors happen and it is sometimes choppy, but it is far, far from unplayable. The game is a dream come true in a lot of ways and I hope that TPC works hard to fix the issues that exist so that I can safely put this game on the pedestal of some of the best Pokémon games ever made. I did have some issues of the game crashing while trying to play online a few times, but the overall setback is not bad because the game saves a lot, so you don’t really need to worry about losing progress. The exploration is really fun. The story is Pokémon, but like a fun Pokémon story, not awful like Sword and Shield. The gameplay is really fun. The graphical performance is 4/10, but the art style is better than Sword and Shield and Arceus. The music is really great.
