Your documentary is original, authentic Thanks a lot
I was born and raised in a Slum in Africa i now live in the US ... I KNOW one does not need much to live and be content &happy living simple is the wisdom to true joy/happiness and contentment.you guys are right hands down.
Yet I now have stuffx7(everything I have I have in quantities I don’t need and adds little or no value to my life)and by the way I am always at work....my son used to have one toy a truck bought second hand that he shared with all boys in the slum they all cherished it ,he would take a bath with it (in a metal basin)that is if we had any water at all,in the evening before bed and went to sleep holding it all night for months....once it was declared ‘lost’... I think one of the boys took it without proper communication and misplaced it ,the whole army of boys in the slum took the task of investigating ,they found it carelessly left somewhere, it was declared found and business was back as usual. He left it for all boys as a souvenir the day we took a flight to the US.(you should have seen their faces that day)😊
In contrast ,his room in the US has been cluttered with toys clothes electrinocs etc,etc..,which are not as cherished as his few items before.it’s not near funny.
My whole house is cluttered!I mean real BAD. Thanks for your insights I intend to live more consciously with regard to the things in life that really matter.
It can be challenge in today’s culture of more and more!
Sometimes I look into myself and wonder how I got swept up into this mess since deep down I know what I need...I thought I could hold up.....anyway there is an African saying that goes” if the number of legs determine who wins a race ,then milipede would beat the tiger hands down”
Please keep enlightening us. Thank you.
