An interesting but not unique story. A good cast but heavy handed and laboured in parts, especially with the dialogue about topical race and related issues. It was as though we were to be force-fed views that we’re already familiar with (and in my case accepting of). Although I watched it until the end I began to lose interest by the penultimate episode. It was, for me, a better produced, cast and more sophisticated soap opera.

Stereotypical characters, mixed ability acting, silly characters, equally silly monster. It would be a better use of time to rewatch Jaws.
