Top notch screenplay meeting the heights of a breakthrough that Alien (1979) made. It should be in the top 10 of a sci-fi genre - because it is truly a sci fi (Science behind nuclear global war Fiction). And extremely relevant today to extrapolate how Russian invasion on Ukraine can develop.

Lame screenplay glorifying authoritarianism and religious fanatism while displaying lack of originality - desert tribe copies real Sahara tribes of Tuareg people (Berbers). The only interesting parts is the Zendaya's character and the worms. But again, screenwriters made a mistake: from the biological point of view worms could never move with mouths constantly open.

Good sarcasm and black humour. However, background and non-leading characters are literally "the background": they have no expressions, no reactions, no movement, nothing, even in the most atrocious situations like sending whole families into slavery. A Roman could do more effort in getting rid of his Norwegianness for the sake of believability, i.e. at least changed his accent. Plus, there's no, totally no change of characters' behaviour during the entire series, no matter how horrific, varied, sad or good things happen to them: they all the time act in the same manner.

Too sweet male fantasy with insufficient depth of female characters. Nordic police is not that inefficient, young Italian mafia man would go nowhere after killing the first sheep and Nordic (any) young women do not wet their pants after guys in their 60s. Maybe 2% does, but not half of young women characters in the series. Kind of waste of time.
