When the prison captain got very very angry, he yelled at one prisoner for not cutting his hair, and then called the next one, who wore glasses, “four eyes.” I nearly fell off my seat, laughing. I’m pretty sure my 9-year-old son wrote the entire script. I don’t think even top-tier actors could deliver those lines convincingly. And for a death row prison, there sure were a lot of civilians roaming around freely and mingling with the prisoners, who were also roaming around freely through their wide open cell doors. Not to mention all the guns accessible to men who are about to die. Come on…Hahaa. That said, the message was beautiful, and I did tear up a couple of times. We stayed through the end of the credits because my friend was singing the closing credit song.
